I would like to be one of those photographers who at least put the protection of nature and the environment on the same level as photography. Who, if not us, should be more interested in finding the beautiful areas that still exist today? Would nature photographer really wants to get up tomorrow and most of the countless species no longer exist?
That means we must do our part to protect this world. Our ecological footprint must contribute, and more than that, to conserving the beauty of nature. Otherwise we won’t have anything left to photograph tomorrow.
Ich möchte zu den Fotografen gehören, die Natur- und Umweltschutz der Fotografie mindestens gleichstellen. Wer, wenn nicht wir, sollte mehr Interesse daran haben auch morgen noch die schönen Gebiete vorzufinden, die es heute noch gibt? Welcher Naturfotograf will denn wirklich morgen aufstehen und von den unzähligen Arten gibt es die meisten gar nicht mehr?
Das bedeutet, dass wir unseres dazu beitragen müssen diese Welt zu schützen. Unser ökologischer Fußabdruck muss dazu beitragen und mehr als das, die Schönheit der Natur zu erhalten. Sonst haben wir morgen nichts mehr was wir fotografieren könnten.
